In this joint submission from Bike Adelaide and the Norwood, Payneham & St Peters Bicycle Users Group we recognise that the proposed design provides a welcome rebalancing for
pedestrian safety, general amenity and increased greening.
However there is a notable lack of cycling infrastructure in the draft design, which would compromise any opportunities to incorporate suitable infrastructure for cyclists.
It would seem unreasonable for the Master Plan to be built now with the idea of retrofitting for cyclists in the future.
